CLAT 2018 {Common Law Entrance Test}

In India for admissions in the NLUs {National Law Universities} each year the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted. The total number of NLUs in India is 18. The conducting body for Common Law Entrance Test is named as The National Universities of Advanced Legal Studies {NUALS}. The courses that are being put forward in the front of students are BA LLB (Hons), BSc LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BSW LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes which can be done from the 18 NLUs nationwide. There are 2352 seats for LLB whereas for LLM only 632 seats are there.

Common Law Entrance Test 2018 Eligibility Criteria

All the aspirants who have passed their 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks for Gen and OBC category and for reserved category i.e. SC & ST the marks required are only 40%. Till last time there were also the age criteria for admission in NLUs but now as per the direction of the Supreme Court it has been removed.

Common Law Entrance Test 2018 Application Form

For filling up the application form for this national level examination the aspirants will just have to open the official website and click on online register option. A blank form of application will appear on the screen fill it carefully at last attach all the required documents along with your one recent photograph and a signature. After all this stuff pay the online fees for registration i.e. Rs. 4,000 for Gen/OBC/SAP category aspirants whereas for SC/ST only Rs.3,500 is being charged.
