NDA 2018 Exam Details

NDA 2018 Candidates who wish to pursue their career as commissioned officers in Army, Navy, Air Force and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). They can appear in National Defence Academy & Naval Academy commonly referred as NDA,  this is a national level entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

This is a national level exam which is being conducted twice a year for the Candidates who have passed their 10+2 level Board Exams. The name of the conducting authority is Union Public Service Commission {UPSC}. Each year the NDA is conducted for recruiting 800 officers for our forces. In each exam 400 aspirants are selected and groomed till they become a perfect officer.

NDA 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • The age of the aspirant should be between 16.5 to 19.5yrs.
  • The applicant must have passed his 12th class from some recognized board or university.
  • For selecting the stream of Air Force or Navy the aspirant must have passed his 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as major subjects.
  • The applicants who are in 10+2 can also apply for the same.

  • Directly go to the notification section and search there for the registration form.
  • Open the link and fill up the application form correctly.
  • After proper filling of application kindly attach all the required documents along with your recent photograph and signature.
  • At last the online payment of the fee {Rs.100 for aspirants of unreserved category and for reserved category no fee will be charged} has to be don
  • Take out at least two copies of your filled application form.

Q1. What is NDA Exam basically?

Ans. NDA or National Defense Academy  is a national level examination which is conducted twice a year by the UPSC. this exam is conducted to recruit candidates in the Indian forces of Army, Airforce and Navy .

Q2. When will the Application Process will begin?

Ans. On 7th of June 2018 for NDA II the Registration Process will commence.

Q3. What is the age criteria for NDA 2018?

Ans. The age of the Candidate should be between 16.5 to 19.5yrs.

Q4. Is there any age relaxation for reserved category Candidates?

Ans. Yes, there is relaxation in age for reserved category candidates as per the rules and regulations of UPSC.

Ans. 100 rupees will be charged from the aspirants of non reserved category.
