NCHM JEE – National Council of Hotel Management Joint Entrance Exam

NCHM JEE, In last week of April for admissions to the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Hotel Administration programmes the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology will conduct NCHMCT Joint Entrance Examination 2018. Under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India an autonomous body is named as NCHMCT. This body manages and runs all these type of exams for aspirants who want to go for these professional courses that are offered at the affiliated 21 central institutes of hotel management, 19 state government institutes of hotel management, 14 private institutes of hotel management and 1 public sector undertaking. On the basis of Merit list of NCHM JEE the total number of seats allotted is 8124. The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and the NCHM both jointly offer the B.Sc. programmes in hospitality and hotel administration.

NCHM JEE Eligibility Criteria

All the aspirants who are interested in this field can apply for this exam if they have passed their 10+2 examination with English as one of the compulsory subject. The aspirants who are pursuing their 10+2 can also apply for the same. For all the aspirants the upper age limit is 22yrs.

NCHM JEE Application Form

From second week of December onwards the application form will be available at the official website and in the information brochure of the officials. The payment mode for registration fees will be totally online for general and OBC aspirants the fee will be charged 800 Rupees, whereas for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped aspirants the fees will be 400 Rupees.

NCHM JEE Counseling Details

First of all aspirants will have to do online registration. After that a page will open in that page the choices have to be filled and then aspirant should click on lock the choices. Then at the end of that round of counseling the allotted seats in the college will be shown. There after the applicant will have to make payment of the fees and then report to the reporting center. If any aspirant didn’t get seats in any of the counseling rounds then at last a spot round comes in it most of the aspirants get the seats.
